Job Summary:
The full-time HR Senior or Principal Professional will be responsible for recruitment, on-boarding, off-boarding, employee relations, training and development, faculty affairs and payroll processes for the BDC. This individual will maintain a working knowledge of all relevant policies and procedures and serve as a resource for faculty and staff on matters related to recruitment, onboarding, orientation, off-boarding, payroll processes, leave, performance management, and professional development.
This position will work closely with University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus and School of Medicine Human Resources units, as well as with the University's Employee Services Department.
- Senior Professional Broad HR practitioner Independently manages the full employee lifecycle and provides HR guidance across all functional areas. Handles complex issues with minimal supervision.
- Principal Professional Subject Matter Expert Serves as the recognized expert in multiple HR disciplines, advises leadership on complex organizational issues, develops HR processes, and leads cross-functional initiatives.
- Lead full-cycle recruitment for a diverse workforce, including faculty, staff, researchers, fellows, students, and other academic personnel.
- Partner with hiring managers and search committees to facilitate effective, compliant recruitment and hiring processes.
- Manage the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, and faculty affairs processes.
- Serve as a trusted HR resource, providing guidance on policies, leave administration, accommodations, performance management, and employee relations.
- Administer payroll and leave processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reconciliation.
- Collaborate with campus and School of Medicine HR partners to ensure compliance with university policies and deliver exceptional HR service.
- Maintain confidential personnel records and contribute to continuous improvement of HR programs and processes.
Hybrid - this role is eligible for a hybrid schedule of 3 days per week on campus and as needed for in-person meetings after an initial 90-day probationary period in which you must work full-time, in person.

QualificationsMinimum Qualifications:
Senior Rank- A bachelor's degree in human resources, business, public administration, higher education administration, social sciences, behavioral sciences or a directly related field from an accredited institution.
