Position Summary
As IME continues to grow, we are looking for a Recruiter who is passionate about connecting great people with great opportunities. This role leads the full-cycle recruitment process and partners closely with hiring managers, candidates, and the HR team to attract top talent and create an exceptional hiring experience. The ideal candidate brings energy, creativity, and a relationship-focused approach to helping build the future of our organization.
WhatYou'll Do
Key Responsibilities
Full-Cycle Recruitment
- Manage all phases of the recruitment process, including job postings, candidate sourcing, interviewing, reference checks, and offer coordination.
- Utilize a variety of recruiting tools, creative sourcing strategies, and industry networks to identify and engage top talent within the electrical and construction industries.
- Maintain candidate pipelines and ensure accurate, up-to-date information within the applicant tracking system.
- Provide hiring managers with regular updates on recruiting activity, candidate progress, and hiring outcomes.
Hiring Manager & Candidate Partnership
- Build and maintain trusted partnerships with hiring managers throughout the recruitment process.
- Coordinate interview schedules and facilitate communication between candidates and hiring teams.
- Ensure candidates receive timely, accurate, and professional information regarding IME and employment opportunities.
- Foster a positive candidate experience that reflects IME's culture, values, and commitment to people.
Onboarding & Process Support
- Partner with the HR team to support a seamless transition from candidate to new hire.
- Participate in onboarding activities to help create an organized and welcoming experience for new hires.
- Develop, review, and update job descriptions to ensure consistency, accuracy, and alignment with organizational needs.
- Identify opportunities to improve recruiting workflows and implement process enhancements that increase efficiency and effectiveness.
Recruiting Events & Employer Branding
- Assist with the planning and execution of recruiting events, including job fairs, career days, networking events, internal events, and the summer internship program.
- Represent IME professionally in interactions with candidates, educational institutions, and community partners, serving as an ambassador of our culture and values.
- Support employer branding initiatives by showcasing IME as an employer of choice and promoting a people-first culture.
