Senior Platform Developer TS​/SCI CI Poly

Overview

Senior Platform Developer with ACTIVE TS/SCI with CI Poly, onsite in Aurora, CO. 12+ month contract, $70-$89/hr requires active TS/SCI with CI Poly clearance, a BS/BA in STEM, and 5 years of experience in software development, containerization, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

• Write Infrastructure as Code (IaC) in support of transitioning a system that is tightly coupled to the underlying infrastructure to a modern platform infrastructure.
• Optimize implementation for performance and scalability across on-premise VMware computing environments.
• Leverage company and industry best practices to improve scalability, consistency, infrastructure efficiency, reduce deployment time, and automate configuration management.
• Collaborate with software engineers, data scientists, and Dev Ops teams to design, implement, and operate development and mission solutions.
• Integrate security and compliance into the platform with services such as encryption and access management.
• Provide operational support for the platform.

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Math (STEM) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or Physics, and 5 years of related work experience.
• Experience with containerization using Kubernetes and Docker.
• Experience with programming/scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java, Ruby, Bash, C++, C#, Go).
• Active and current TS/SCI with CI Poly security clearance is required day 1. U.S. citizenship is required.
• Current CompTIA Security+ or the ability to obtain.

• Experience with Agile Development Methodologies (e.g., Scrum, SAFe).
• Experience deploying, configuring, and supporting CI/CD pipelines tools (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Artifactory, Git Lab).
• Experience with automation frameworks such as Chef, Puppet, Ansible.
• Experience with scanning tools (e.g., Nessus, Fortify, Anchore).
• Experience in a Dev Sec Ops  environment; multi-disciplined infrastructure (Server, Storage, Network Hardware).
• Background in COTS/FOSS product installation, configuration, and integration.
• Designing and implementing platform infrastructure services using IaC.

Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

Location:

Onsite in Aurora, CO 80011 (no relocation package). DURATION: 12+ month Contract or Contract-to-hire. No C2C. U.S. citizenship is required. EOE/Disability/Veteran.
