As a Dev Ops Engineer, you’re eager to develop, manage, and secure a container platform that meets your client’s needs and takes advantage of cloud capabilities. We need you to develop container management software to solve some of our clients’ toughest challenges.

ResponsibilitiesAs a platform Dev Ops Engineer at Booz Allen, you can use your technical skills to affect mission‑forward change. On our team, you’ll hone your skills using the latest cloud technologies as you look for ways to improve your client’s environment with current container software to ensure seamless orchestration.
Using your Dev Ops platform experience, you’ll support your team as you inform strategy and design while ensuring standards are met throughout the containerization process.
You’ll recommend resources that will help your client manage and securely adopt containers. Additionally, you’ll continue to strengthen your Dev Ops skills while supporting the development of critical cloud platforms. Work with us to use cloud platform technology for good.
You Have- 4+ years of experience with AWS Cloud building and supporting Dev Ops tools and continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines
- 3+ years of experience with containerization, building images, and orchestrating deployments in Kubernetes or EKS
- 3+ years of experience with infrastructure-as-code environments, including automated server or network configurations, large-scale software deployments, or monitoring and testing
- 2+ years of experience developing custom applications and supporting them in a production environment
- Experience supporting an agile environment
- Knowledge of container networking, monitoring, and storage solutions
- Knowledge of container security technologies and evaluating, mitigating, or resolving vulnerability findings
- TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
- HS diploma or GED
- Ability to obtain a Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA‑Security, or GSEC Certification within 6 months of hire date
- Experience with identifying and implementing automation to improve user experience
- Experience with scripting in Bash, Power Shell, Python, Groovy, or Ruby
- Experience with system integration using a variety of protocols, including JSON, REST, and XML
- Experience with leveraging JSON, YAML, or XML for configuration
- Experience with the OWASP Software Assurance Maturity Model or Dev Sec Ops Maturity Model
- Bachelor's degree
- Cloud Certification, including AWS, Certified Solutions Architect Associate Certification, Google Certified Professional Cloud Architect, or MCSE Cloud Platform and Infrastructure Certification

Full‑time and part‑time employees working at least 20 hours a week on a regular basis are eligible to participate in Booz Allen’s benefit programs. Individuals that do not meet the threshold are only eligible for select offerings, not inclusive of health benefits.
Salary range: $62,000.00 to $ (annualized USD). This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.

If this position is listed as remote, there may still be occasions when you are required to work in person at a Booz Allen or customer facility. - Hybrid:
If this position is listed as hybrid, you will be expected to work from a Booz Allen facility frequently, in alignment with leadership expectations and the needs of the role. You may also be required to work from or visit a customer facility. - Onsite:
If this position is listed as onsite, work will primarily be performed at a Booz Allen office or customer facility, where employees will collaborate directly with colleagues and customers as required by the role.
