Systems Engineer, Cybersecurity
As an OPIR Systems Engineer, you will translate your customer’s IT needs and future goals into a plan by crafting and managing emerging satellite architectures for national security space programs. With your guidance, you’ll help transform how national space programs use technology, including cloud migration, integrating advanced technology, and modernizing legacy systems. You will also mentor developers to grow into tomorrow’s solutions architects.
ResponsibilitiesTranslate customer IT needs into architecture plans; craft and manage OPIR satellite architectures; integrate advanced tech and modernize legacy systems; collaborate with mission management planners and operators; mentor and lead development teams.
Qualifications- 10+ years with mission processing software.
- 2+ years with national security satellite systems for SIGINT or GEOINT.
- Experience with large DoD or IC satellite ground systems, including OPIR.
- Experience managing a team of developers.
- Knowledge of mission needs and conveying software capabilities.
- Top Secret clearance required.
- High School diploma or GED.
- Experience with satellite mission management systems.
- Developing solutions in classified Cloud environments.
- Model-Based Systems Engineering.
- Linux and Cloud technologies.
- Agile and Dev Sec Ops knowledge.
- Automation, AI, and machine learning.
- Active TS/SCI clearance and willingness to take a polygraph.
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for classified information;
Top Secret clearance is required.
Salary range: $99,000.00 to $ annualized USD. Total compensation includes benefits such as health, life, disability, retirement, paid leave, tuition assistance, and more.
