Senior Systems Administrator

Leidos is seeking an IT Engineer with Microsoft Enterprise Systems Administrator experience to join our team in support of a Federal Intelligence Agency contract located in Alice Springs, AUS.

• Provide Tier 2 support maintaining multiple large enterprise environments that span CONUS and OCONUS boundaries.
• Perform system administrative duties, including management of Windows and Linux workstations on EVD and physical infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot application functionality, crashes, and performance, and investigate user performance to improve user experience.
• Assist customers with Tier 2 incident resolution for Linux and Windows applications.
• Provide remote end‑user desktop support.
• Identify, analyze, and resolve system incidents with both short‑term workarounds and long‑term solutions.
• Respond to escalated service desk and team requests.
• Communicate effectively in oral and written form with a variety of individuals; work well within small and large team environments.
• Participate in special projects as required.
• Provide initial triage, response, and notifications for incidents (willingness to do so).

• Must have an active TS/SCI with Polygraph, current investigation within the last 5 years.

• Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of relevant experience, or a master’s degree and 6+ years of experience; additional years in lieu of a degree are acceptable.
• Active Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph clearance.
• Active Directory administration (DNS, DHCP, DFS, LDAP).
• Experience with Windows 10, Server 2012, Server 2016.
• Application troubleshooting (Outlook, Excel, Word, JAVA, Internet Explorer).
• Linux operating system knowledge.
• Understanding of Service Now, NETS, or other ticketing processes.
• ITIL v3 or higher.
• Diagnostics and troubleshooting of hardware/software.
• Microsoft Windows system administration.

• Power Shell scripting.
• Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager.
• Virtualization environments (VMware, Citrix).
• Profile management using VMware User Experience Management (UEM) toolset.
• Microsoft Exchange telephone/video support.
• Networking familiarity with site‑specific customer and mission requirements.
