Systems Administrator, Senior Analyst – Raytheon Digital Technology – ASDS Programs

Employment Type:
Onsite (8x5 with after‑hours call‑in responsibility)
- Support a Raytheon program in a classified environment as a System Administrator.
- Monitor and support systems that operate 24/7, including occasional work beyond standard hours.
- Collaborate with a diverse team to support mission‑critical classified programs.
- Maintain system health and security posture.
- Research issues, determine root causes and implement solutions with program developers and system engineers.
- Serve as a help desk team member in a customer‑facing environment, communicating effectively with teams and the customer.
- University degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field.
- Active and transferable U.S. government‑issued TS/SCI with Poly security clearance and U.S. citizenship.
- Active DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 certification (or higher) on start date;
Level 2 requires one or more of the following certifications:
Security+, CCNA Security, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP, CySA+, CND. - Experience in VMware or Linux Systems Administration working with customers in technical operations or engineering.
- Experience with Veritas tape libraries and/or Hitachi VSPs; experience configuring domain information utilities such as Active Directory, Centrify, LDAP, and DNS.
- Ability to work with frequent and direct customer interaction in a real‑time operational environment and present technical information.
- Ability to navigate, debug, and modify programs in an advanced programming language.
- Experience with storage products from Oracle, Dell/EMC (e.g., Isilon/Power Scale), and/or Net App.
- Strong background troubleshooting and debugging applications; ability to work under pressure to restore high‑priority systems.
- Thorough understanding of operating system concepts such as swapping, paging, inter‑process communication, and devices/drivers.
- Relocation eligibility for the selected applicant, subject to company policy.

- Competitive salary range of $68,900–$131,100, with possible incentive compensation.
Active TS/SCI with Poly clearance required on day 1. U.S. citizenship required. DCSA Consolidated Adjudication Services handles the security clearance process.
