Business Systems Analyst II

Responsibilities

• Work with the business to understand reporting and data use cases, expectations and timelines
• Translate business and functional requirements to create user stories
• Present user stories to development team during refinement
• Gather understanding and requirements by utilizing a user centric approach by conducting interviews and workshops with business stakeholders and users
• Conduct quality assurance checks throughout the development lifecycle
• Facilitate user acceptance testing including the creation of user acceptance test cases and conducting sessions with business users
• Assist in designing data warehouse schemas and tables
• Document/communicate Root Cause Analysis on system issues

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in business analyst systems, or a related field
• Relevant experience can be considered as a substitute for the required educational qualifications
• In the absence of a degree, a minimum of 6 years of related experience is required
• Higher level relevant degree may substitute for experience
• Strong experience with data analysis and business intelligence tools
• Aptitude to learn new technologies quickly such as Power BI and SQL
• Excellent project management skills
• Advanced problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to analyze business systems and/or business processes to identify user needs, document requirements, and address process improvements
