Senior Platform Engineer – Cloud & Dev Sec Ops Onsite in Aurora Colorado or Colorado Springs Colorado
Active TS/SCI This role supports the design, development, integration, and sustainment of a cloud‑based compute, network, and storage infrastructure for a large‑scale national mission program. You will modernize platform capabilities using emerging technologies, automation, and Dev Sec Ops practices to improve performance, reliability, and delivery speed across development and operational environments.
Key Responsibilities Develop, integrate, and optimize cloud‑based platform and infrastructure environments across build, integration/test, and production Apply best practices and automation (Terraform, Ansible, Chef) to improve scalability, consistency, and deployment efficiency Collaborate with software engineers, data scientists, and Agile teams to deliver resilient, scalable platform solutions Embed security and compliance controls, including encryption and access management Provide operational support to maintain platform stability and performance
Required Qualifications BS/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, Physics, or related STEM field; up to 5 years’ experience Active TS/SCI with CI Poly (required Day
1); U.S. citizenship Strong Red Hat Linux installation, configuration, and administration experience Hands‑on cloud infrastructure development (preferably AWS) Proficiency with automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, Chef) DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (Security+ CE or equivalent)
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with servers, networks, storage, virtualization Dev Sec Ops development and delivery experience AWS services (EC2, EKS, S3, Cloud Watch, IAM, VPC) Containerization (Kubernetes, Docker, Podman) CI/CD tools (Jira, Confluence, Jenkins, Artifactory, Git Lab, Helm) Several Compensation options
