Role Overview
The Tier II Network Technician will support the customer's computer data communications systems, providing design specifications, testing, and inspections for computer networks, as well as analyzing and organizing corresponding hardware and software combined solutions through network modeling.
What You Will DoThe job duties of the Tier II network field technician include supporting the installation and maintenance of client LAN/WAN devices, responding to and resolving incidents, and completing assigned tasks within Service Level Objectives/Agreements (SLOs/SLAs).
Why It Might Be a FitThe ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience with Cisco and/or Juniper networks, routers, switches, and experience with MLPS. They will also be able to work independently and in a collaborative environment, and be available to travel up to 20% of the time.
Requirements- Active TS/SCI with poly
- 10 years of experience (combination of work history and education)
- Compliance with Department of Defense (DoD) 8140 Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level 2
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekend support
- Hands on experience with Cisco and/or Juniper networks, routers, switches
- Experience with MLPS
