Overview
We are seeking a Senior Systems Administrator to join our Task Order proposal on the Defense Intelligence Agency’s Solutions for the Information Technology Enterprise III (SITE III). The Senior Systems Administrator maintains smooth operation of multi‑user computer systems, including coordination with network engineers.

Responsibilities- Monitors and manages system resources, including CPU usage, disk usage, and response times to maintain operating efficiency.
- Performs systems security administration functions, including creating user profiles and accounts.
- Sets up administrator accounts, maintains system documentation, tunes system performance, installs system‑wide software, and allocates mass storage space.
- Interacts with users and evaluates vendor products.
- Recommends purchase of hardware and software, coordinates installation, and provides backup recovery.
- Develops and monitors policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources.
- Might be assigned responsibility for less experienced staff.
- Active TS/SCI + CI Poly clearance
- Active CompTIA Security+
- At least one advanced platform certification:
- RHCSA
- RHCE or equivalent Windows certification
- Minimum 8–12 years of progressively responsible systems administration experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related technical discipline (or equivalent experience).
- Demonstrated experience supporting enterprise, multi‑user environments in DoD or Intelligence Community settings preferred.

Normal work hours (average 8 hours a day, 40 hours per week) within standard operational hours 0600‑1800, Monday‑Friday, excluding Federal holidays. May be requested to work evenings and weekends to meet program and contract needs. - Amount of travel: 20%
The employee is regularly required to use hands to grip, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is regularly required to lift up to 10 pounds. The employee is frequently required to lift up to 25 pounds and up to 50 pounds.
Vision requirements include close sight, distance sight, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
