Job Summary:

The Medical Imaging Analyst in Polycystic Kidney Disease (PKD) will support clinical research and patient-care initiatives focused onautosomal dominant polycystic kidney disease (ADPKD) and othercystic kidney disorders. The analyst will be responsible for the acquisition, organization, processing, analysis, and interpretation of renal imaging data, with particular emphasis on quantitativeassessment of kidney structure, cyst burden, and diseaseprogression.

This individual will work closely with nephrologists, radiologists,imaging scientists, clinical research coordinators,biostatisticians, and investigators to support observationalstudies, clinical trials, and translational researchprograms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform quantitative analysis of kidney imaging studies,including MRI, CT, and ultrasound examinations.
  • Measure and analyze total kidney volume (TKV), height-adjustedTKV (htTKV), kidney dimensions, cyst burden, and other relevantimaging biomarkers.
  • Apply standardized imaging protocols and analytic methods forlongitudinal assessment of PKD progression.
  • Perform image segmentation, quality control, and validation ofimaging-derived measurements.
  • Evaluate changes in kidney structure and volume overtime.
Work Location:

Onsite – this role is expected to work onsite and is located in Aurora, CO at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Bioinformatics, Biostatistics,Computational Biology, Data Science, Computer Science or related field.
    • A combination of education and related technical/military/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree on a year for year basis.
  • One (1) year of data management and bioinformatic analysesexperience.

Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time ofhire.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Bioinformatics, Biostatistics, Computational Biology, Data Science, Computer Science or related field.
  • Two (2) years of experience analyzing data usinghigh-performance computing.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Strong knowledge of basic statistical principles relevant inmedical research.
