As a Tire & Battery Center Technician, you will provide safe and efficient service in both the sales and service areas of the department. You will collaborate with colleagues to meet member expectations and deliver more of what they love, for less.

• Assist members by acknowledging them, identifying their needs, and helping with purchasing decisions.
• Maintain merchandise presentation by stocking, setting up, cleaning, and organizing product displays, removing damaged goods, signing and pricing items, and securing fragile or high‑shrink merchandise.
• Keep the sales floor in the Tire and Battery Center in compliance with company policies by handling claims and returns, zoning the area, arranging merchandise, and identifying shrink and damage.
• Receive and stock merchandise, complete paperwork, logs, and other required documentation following company procedures and utilizing equipment appropriately.
• Maintain facility safety by following all safety standards, conducting safety sweeps, practicing proper forklift spotting procedures, handling hazardous materials correctly, and reporting unsafe situations to management.
• Operate hardware such as cash registers, process member purchases, and assist with payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges using the appropriate procedures for different membership and payment types.
• Complete vehicle service requests and tests, operate tire and battery center equipment safely, store and dispose of merchandise and supplies, and maintain required paperwork.
• Maintain and service members’ automobiles, including driving cars into and out of the bay area, notifying members of any damage prior to service, following tire installation guidelines, repairing or replacing flats, balancing or rotating tires, installing batteries, and using computer equipment for processing member services.

• Hourly wage: $23.00–$31.00 (location based). All rates ensure at least the local minimum wage.
• Shifts may vary.
• Premiums may apply by schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed (up to $3.00 per hour).

• Valid state‑issued driver’s license.
• Minimum age 18 years.
• Completion of all required trainings and assessments within the prescribed time period.
