The primary purpose of this position is to provide comprehensive supply and fleet support for all Space Base Delta 2 units.

In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Administrative and Management Positions, General Supply Series 2001 SPECIALIZED

EXPERIENCE:

Applicants must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience at the next lower broadband NH-01, equivalent to the next to lower grade GS-04 or equivalent in the Federal Service. Specialized experience must include thorough knowledge of governing supply regulations, policies, procedures, and instructions; knowledge of supply functions, operations, program requirements, and work methods; knowledge of data entry and processing of supply transaction in an automated supply system.

Intensive knowledge of local supply requirements to ensure supply support for test operations, overhaul, repair, or other operations for urgent critical shortages and other special items. Knowledge of office automation software procedures and functions keys to produce a wide range of documents that often require complex formats, such as graphics or tables within text, to edit and reformat electronic drafts, and to update and revise existing databases or spreadsheets.

OR

Education:

Four year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

(KSAs):
Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
Thorough knowledge of governing supply regulations, policies, procedures, and instructions; knowledge of supply functions, operations, program requirements, and work methods; knowledge of data entry and processing of supply transaction in an automated supply system. Intensive knowledge of local supply requirements to ensure supply support for test operations, overhaul, repair, or other operations for urgent critical shortages and other special items.

Ability to read, interpret, and apply applicable reference material, such as supply regulations, manuals, catalogs, records, orders, etc., to accomplish tasks and resolve complex supply problems; ability to apply basic analytical methods and techniques to resolve complex supply problems and/or deviate from normal supply management procedures or program requirements. Ability to receive, screen, review, and verify supply documents and resolve discrepancies.

Knowledge of office automation software procedures and functions keys to produce a wide range of documents that often require complex formats, such as graphics or tables within text, to edit and reformat electronic drafts, and to update and revise existing databases or spreadsheets. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.

PART-TIME OR UNPAID

EXPERIENCE:

Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.

Refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service Programs (i.e., Peace Corps, Ameri Corps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student and social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge and skills that can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
