Overview
Apres Apartments in Aurora, CO is looking for a full-time, Senior Maintenance Technician.

Responsibilities- Address resident service and maintenance requests in a timely manner.
- Work with the Maintenance Supervisor to assure maintenance personnel are available for emergency purposes, 24 hours a day/7 days a week.
- Inspect “market ready” vacancies daily to ensure cleanliness.
- Keep the physical property throughout the community and immediately correct unsafe conditions.
- Communicate with residents on pending items and/or status of completed service requests to ensure satisfaction. Communicate any outstanding issues to the Maintenance Supervisor and office staff (Property Manager, Assistant Manager and leasing team).
- Maintain accurate records regarding preventive maintenance, service requests, expenditures, apartment make-ready status, work in progress, etc.
- Change locks and keys.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- 1+ years of experience in property maintenance or an equivalent maintenance-related fieldwork.
- Ability to interact professionally and efficiently with prospects, residents, staff, and management.
- Hands-on experience with basic plumbing, carpentry, electrical, heating and air conditioning systems (heat pump experience a plus), swimming pools, landscaping, and cleaning.
- Applicants must furnish their own tools and have transportation to pick up replacement parts and supplies from vendors.
- The applicant must be CPO certified.
- Applicant must have an EPA approved certification.
- Certified Apartment Maintenance Technician (CAMT) preferred. Must be willing to obtain the CAMT if requested by management.
- Physical requirements include lifting up to 50 lbs., climbing ladders and stairs, walking between buildings and on roofs, stooping, kneeling, and bending, and possessing hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Familiarity with and adherence to OSHA guidelines.
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Fair Housing certification prior to interaction with prospects or residents.
- Ability to travel to pick up replacement parts and supplies from vendors.
- Other duties as required.
- Must complete a drug and background screening.
Work hours:
40+ hours per week; evenings, weekends, and on-call hours are required as circumstances warrant.
Hourly Pay Range: $29-$30.
