Northrop Grumman is currently seeking a Pricing Cost Estimating Manager – Level 2, to join our team. The preferred location for this role is Redondo Beach CA. We may consider one of our other major Space sector locations (to include):
Denver CO;
Linthicum MD;
McLean VA;
Chandler AZ; or Magna/Promontory UT.

• Manage the department staffing, resources, tools, and training (as needed).
• Engage with Business Unit/Division leadership to develop estimating strategies needed to successfully capture new business.
• Understand and adhere to internal and external policies and procedures as it pertains to the role.
• Establish strategic relationships both internally with business unit leadership, and externally, with government counterparts.
• Review and approve all new business proposals, engineering change proposals (ECPs), ROMS, BPEs, and task orders including, but not limited to, fixed price, cost type, time and materials, and IDIQ contracts, and DCAA/DCMA Audit interface.
• Participate and/or Lead Division/Sector Cost Red Teams, ICE, and other Program Cost Reviews and Signoffs.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (to include: Economics, Mathematics, Business, Finance, Operations Analysis, Engineering) with 7+ years of relevant professional experience – OR – Master’s degree in a relevant discipline (to include: Economics, Mathematics, Business, Finance, Operations Analysis, Engineering) with 5+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Will consider an additional 4+ years of experience in lieu of degree.
• Experience leading projects and/or experience directly or indirectly managing others.
• Proven ability to evaluate, integrate, and communicate cost issues and risks to senior and executive management.
• Demonstrated expertise in business management, cost/risk modeling, pricing, estimating, and a working understanding of Government and commercial contracting…
