This is a contingent position based upon contract award.
K is seeking a highly motivated and career-oriented Enterprise Deputy Program Manager to join our team supporting a government client in Aurora, Colorado, providing management oversight to three separate locations (two CONUS and one OCONUS).
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure integration of the PMO staff and serve as the Acting Enterprise Program Manager, as required
* Fully coordinate and collaborate on all tasks, activities, requirements and issues at the Enterprise level as they pertain to the support of the Customer
* Identify issues and adapt program plans according to the Customer feedback on program cost, performance, quality, schedule and risk.
* Develop plans and schedules, and define and document the implementation of requirements
* Use established program management procedures to monitor cost, schedule, inventory, and performance; assess variances of the plan and take necessary corrective action.
* Review and clarify contract requirements as they are dispensed from the requirements management tool, and propose cleared, qualified personnel to expeditiously fulfill the requirements
* Identify potential downstream issues that may negatively affect meeting requirements and provide recommendations to mitigate negative impacts
* Manage customer expectations with proactive, consistent and transparent communication.
* Ensure continuity of support with contractor personnel changes and approving of staffing alignments /allocations
* Interface with the CO, COTR and Government leadership
* Oversee the management and implementation of the PMP
* Serve as the primary point of contact for formal discussion with the customer, including frequent customer interaction with the intent to sustain and improve customer satisfaction
* Oversee the Contractor's Environmental, Health and Safety functions, ensuring that all safe work practices are being followed
* Monitor cost control, financial reports, budgeting, and overall operating costs
* Oversee the coordination of work priorities and monitoring of methods, procedures and programs
* Ensure that management and contract reports are accurate before submission.
Qualifications
Required:
* Clearance Requirement: TS/SCI with polygraph
* 15 years of program management experience with large, complex requirements associated with operations and sustainment functions
* Bachelor's degree in Facility Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or similar
* Management experience with P&L responsibility
* Personnel management experience with excellent oral and written communication skills.
* Proficient knowledge and experience in the use of project management concepts to manage items including, but not limited to: project schedule, scope, cost, risk, and deliverables and related metrics
* Familiarity and willingness to manage a 24/7/365 operational environment
* Highly effective organizational, interpersonal, communication, and group leadership skills
* Ability to reliably operate in a complex and changing environment, demonstrating solid independent judgment
* Ability to interpret, capture, and manage customer requirements and expectations
* Experience managing facility management, operations, and sustainment projects.
