Digital Program Lead (DPL) – Air & Space Defense Systems (ASDS) Strategic Business Unit (SBU) at RTX Corporation

Aurora, CO (100% onsite)

Mandatory The DPL is responsible for owning the digital transformation roadmap and execution for the ASDS SBU. This role serves as the primary digital transformation touchpoint for program leadership, program management, and functional partners, acting as a strategic business partner, escalation point, and change agent.
- Serve as the digital transformation (DT) touchpoint for SBU leadership, program management, and SSBU directors.
- Develop and execute a strategic DT roadmap focused on streamlining opportunities and managing scope, cost, and schedule performance.
- Lead cross‑functional collaboration and root‑cause analysis to solve complex DT program challenges.
- Manage key performance metrics, financials, EVMS, and staffing; provide regular status reports and operations reviews.
- Partner with engineering and proposal teams to capture requirements, create executable plans, and ensure effective program support across functions.
- Oversee the Program Annual Operating Plan (AOP), track capital and expense spending, and ensure compliance with security and infrastructure regulations (DFARS, CMMC, RMF, JSIG).
- Direct DT resources and third‑party collaborations to advance Agile initiatives and streamline procurement and technical solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, MIS, Engineering, Math, or related STEM field.
- Minimum of 8 years of directly related experience (or a master’s degree with 5 years of directly related experience).
- Must have and maintain a U.S. government‑issued TS/SCI security clearance with the ability to be read onto special access programs.
- Experience in overall IT, software/systems engineering, and/or program management.
- Extensive experience as an Agile Scrum Master, Product Owner, or Product Manager, leading cross‑functional teams.
- Certifications such as PMP, PMX, or CMX.
- High‑level expertise in project management, risk/opportunity analysis, cost analysis (CAM), and performance tracking across complex programs.
- Understanding of software development, systems integration, Dev Sec Ops , continuous improvement, and testing processes throughout the program life cycle.
- Strong leadership and team‑motivating skills, adept at managing large portfolios/backlogs, and influencing senior stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills with expertise in business case analysis, ROI modeling, contract/SOW negotiation, and stakeholder engagement.
Relocation to the Aurora, CO area is available if the selected applicant meets company policy criteria.
