Lead the evolution of a critical satellite ground systems platform within an Agile Release Train (ART). Own the product backlog, define strategy, and work closely with cross‑functional teams.

• Define and communicate product vision, strategy, and roadmap, aligning with program objectives and mission priorities.
• Act as primary liaison between stakeholders and the ART, translating strategic priorities into executable work.
• Collaborate with System Architects, Systems Engineers, RTEs, and Product Owners to decompose system‑level requirements into actionable, testable features.
• Lead backlog refinement, roadmap development, and cross‑team dependency coordination for PI Planning.
• Monitor feature delivery and program performance using Agile metrics, stakeholder feedback, and mission outcomes to drive continuous improvement.
• Partner with Product Owners to translate features into user stories and coordinate delivery across Agile teams.
• Lead and participate in Agile ceremonies: PI Planning, System Demos, Inspect & Adapt workshops, backlog refinement sessions.
• Mentor Product Owners, collaborate with functional leads and the RTE to support resource planning and staff alignment.

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of relevant experience in product or systems engineering within classified, DoD, or IC environments.
• Proven experience working in Agile environments, including value‑stream coordination, ART execution, and use of tools such as Jira and Confluence.
• Experience supporting ground‑systems, space operations, or mission‑planning systems.
• Knowledge of SAFe Agile practices and self‑certification in SAFe Product Manager/Product Owner (PMPO) or similar.
• Leadership experience in cross‑functional teams, managing multi‑team dependencies, and collaborating across ARTs.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance required before start. U.S. citizenship required.

• Leading multidisciplinary systems‑engineering teams and driving cross‑discipline collaboration.
• Applying value‑stream mapping and similar frameworks to prioritize and deliver enterprise‑level features.
• Applying design‑thinking principles and continuous stakeholder engagement to address user needs.
• Experience with automation, modern software‑factory practices, and tools such as Cucumber, Gherkin, and Zephyr.
• Support for satellite ground‑system development or operational environments.

Salary range: 107,500

USD – 204,500

USD. Relocation eligible.
