Job Title:
Production Planner
- Oversee daily production scheduling functions.
- Manage and release manufacturing orders accurately and timely.
- Align manufacturing orders with company forecasts and open demand.
- Coordinate with procurement associates to move items to the facility or customer.
- Ensure all bill of materials are issued and manufacturing orders are reconciled or closed prior to shipping.
- Create purchase orders and manufacturing orders.
- Engage in vendor management.
- Proficiency in Excel.
- Experience in production planning, scheduling, buying, or production control.
- Strong communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with a strong desire to learn and grow.
- Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in a production environment is beneficial.
- Machine shop experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with Power Query, Power Pivot, and Power BI.
This position offers flexibility in working hours, with the option to work four ten‑hour days or five eight‑hour days. Our company is currently expanding, moving to a larger facility in Aurora, which offers more room for growth. We are a growing company, deeply involved in R&D, and offer a great opportunity to gain or expand experience in the automation industry. While initially a contract role, there is potential for permanent placement depending on budget outcomes.
Our work environment balances the feel of a family‑owned business with the robust resources of a larger corporate entity. The team consists of nine members, all based in Colorado.
Contract to Hire position based out of Aurora, CO. Fully onsite.
Pay and BenefitsPay range: $33.00 - $38.00/hr.
