Assembly Technician

Position: Assembly Technician I
The Assembly Technician must be able to assemble, disassemble and repair specific product lines. To perform the job properly, the Assembly Technician I must have basic product knowledge, an understanding of production procedures, and ability to use common hand and power tools. The position requires self-direction, focus, and a strong desire to work within a team environment.

Essential Responsibilities:

* Assemble fundamental components in accordance to the work instructions utilizing a combination of hand tools, power tools, and equipment.

* Assemble entry-level products to meet established standards for quality, quantity, efficiency, and customer specifications consistently and correctly.

* Communicate with appropriate parties in relation to expedited orders, component quality issues, inventory records, etc.

* Participate in the implementation of process improvements.

* Participate in maintaining and suggesting safety practices and procedures.

* Maintain an orderly work environment.

* Maintain system accuracy and record transactions in ERP operating system.

* Participate as a team member to achieve goals.

* Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

* High School Diploma or GED.

* 1 year of relevant work experience, preferred.

* Mechanical aptitude.

* Familiarity with hand and power tools.

* Strong sense of urgency and basic ability to prioritize in order to meet the expectations of the customer.

* Detail oriented to provide the highest level of quality.
