Our team in Aurora, CO is looking for an Operator I. This position is responsible for the safe operations of different baking machinery and is required to provide consistent quality, following the formula(s) and procedures established by the company without deviation. The role is also responsible for understanding related Quality Management Systems including SQF, HACCP, and GMP to ensure safety and quality of employees and products.

The job duties include responsibility for assuring food safety and for food quality for Dessert Holdings products. A supervisor or other person of authority should be notified if any issues or threats to food safety or food quality are observed.

• Operate mixing, baking and decorating machinery in a safe and efficient manner.
• Maintain production supplies at prescribed levels so that the line does not shut down for lack of product.
• Perform assignments in accordance with established Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) policies and procedures.
• Read all product formulas, temperatures, and times according to Building of Materials (BOM).
• Coordinate with Production Leads regarding product flow for the mixing of batches.
• Perform assignments in accordance with specifications, instructions and requirements.
• Demonstrate ability to meet production standards on specific assignments within required time.
• Ensure a positive work ethic on the production floor.
• Maintain good housekeeping and clean work areas in assigned space.
• Follow production dress code standards and maintain good personal hygiene.
• Report all production waste to Production Lead or Supervisor.
• Be responsible for food safety and food quality throughout production.
• Notify Production Lead when stepping off the line to maintain food safety and quality standards.
• Perform other duties as required by Supervisor.

• Reliable transportation and a flexible schedule.
• Willingness to work overtime, including weekends if necessary.
• Read and write in either English or Spanish.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, team environment.
• Good verbal communication skills.
• Ability to stay focused in a loud working environment.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment requiring strict work/safety rules 100% of the time.
