Position OverviewITSC is seeking an experienced Senior Test Engineer to support Missile Warning Integration and Test activities. This role provides intermediate-level independent consultation and enterprise expertise in missile warning system verification. The Senior Test Engineer delivers strategic recommendations to improve verification methodologies, approaches, and overall test rigor across mission‑critical systems.
ImpactIn this role, you will contribute directly to the verification and mission assurance of missile warning systems essential to national and global defense. Your technical expertise and recommendations will influence enterprise-level test strategies, increase confidence in system performance, and support operational readiness across the missile warning mission area.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as a Senior Test Engineer supporting Missile Warning Integration and Test.
- Provide intermediate-level independent consultation and enterprise expertise in missile warning system verification.
- Develop recommendations and strategic guidance on verification methodologies, approaches, and improvements.
- Support enterprise validation of system performance across development, integration, and test environments.
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and test stakeholders to ensure alignment of verification objectives.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of test processes and verification rigor.
Required Knowledge & Technical Expertise
- Missile Warning system verification and validation concepts
- Enterprise test and verification methodologies
- Command and Control (C2) mission system environments
- Integration and test planning and execution
- Ability to provide independent technical recommendations and analysis
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical consultation
- Master’s degree (MA/MS) in a related field.
- Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience.
- Demonstrated experience supporting system verification or testing in mission‑critical environments.
- Active TS/SCI clearance (required).
