The Quality Assurance Inspector supports the manufacturing unit by testing and inspecting products at various stages of the production process, including vendor products. This role acts as a critical quality gatekeeper, compiling and evaluating statistical data to determine and maintain the elite reliability, safety, and performance of Kärcher products.
This is how you WOW- Drive Quality Success: Measure and perform dimensional checks, utilizing defined inspection, audit, and test protocols to protect our product integrity.
- Data-Driven Excellence: Collect complete and accurate data for report writing, record and enter data into systems, and update key performance metrics to create actionable trend charts.
- Root Cause & Rework Master: Perform and direct root cause analysis as instructed. Efficiently process all rework, which includes testing, cleaning, repairing, and repacking returned equipment.
- Operational Alignment: Perform precise inventory transactions and movements as required in SAP. Help maintain the meticulous calibration of all measuring and testing equipment.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner seamlessly with multiple departments on quality issues, maintain compliant work areas, and actively participate in safety, quality, and performance initiatives.
- Systems Standardization: Read, understand, and maintain strict compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), while helping to write/revise SOPs and implement ISO 9001 procedures.
- Academic Foundation: A High School Diploma or GED is required; having some engineering or technical education is highly preferred.

Experience:
1 to 2 years of hands‑on experience in a related Quality Assurance or technical inspection role. - Technical & Mechanical Aptitude: Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude, with a demonstrated ability to identify complex technical and quality issues.
- Toolbox Mastery: Proven capability to safely use hand tools, pneumatic tools, and precision measuring equipment (calipers, micrometers, various gauges, etc.).
- Blueprint Literacy: The ability to accurately understand and interpret prints, wiring diagrams, and detailed work instructions.
- Digital Savvy: Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (specifically Word and Excel) along with the ability to perform basic transactions in SAP. A foundational understanding of ISO 9001 standards is key.
- Communication & Math
Skills:
Clear verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to interpret technical data. Strong practical math skills, including multiple‑digit calculations, decimals, angles, fractions, and proportions. - Floor Mobility: Trained and capable of operating a pallet jack, dolly, or forklift as required.

While performing this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and climb warehouse ladders throughout the shift. You must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. with assistance. The role operates within a Manufacturing, Assembly, Fabrication, and Warehouse environment with seasonal temperature variations, forklift traffic, tool operation, and manufacturing equipment noise where proper protective equipment is required.
