Mechanical Assembly Technician in Aurora

Overview

Wanco Inc. is seeking an Assembly Technician in our Aurora, CO production facility.

Seeking Mechanical Assemblers to join a growing production team that builds high-end light towers and trailers. Team members will be trained in all functions necessary to build our towers. You will be cross-trained through all the job stations to take on any role. Each job station requires attention to detail.

The successful candidate has experience in a lean manufacturing environment using an ERP system with the ability to be self-driven and work with limited direction.

• Display a positive attitude and practice a strong work ethic that reflects the mission, philosophy, and goals of WANCO.
• Mechanical skills – bolting, drilling, general assembly, operating hoist/crane.
• Team player: cross-training and supporting peers with work that is outside of your core skill set.
• Identify and communicate quality, safety, and productivity improvement opportunities.
• Accurately capture materials and parts consumption using provided computer systems and software.
• Support other projects when needed.

• Mobility to work in a large factory setting with walking, pushing, heavy lifting, standing, and sitting, while maintaining PPE requirements.

Shift: Mon-Fri, 10 hours daily (6:00 am–4:30 pm), with frequent Saturday work.

Salary Range: $20/hr – $21/hr
