JOB TITLE – Press Brake Operator

Position Summary:

This position is responsible for producing fabricated parts by operating a variety of press brakes. This is skilled position for a Press Brake operator.

Essential Functions:

Fabricate complex components using different press brakes.

Read and Interpret technical drawings.

Operate HMI on machine controller.

Performs quality checks and in-process monitoring.

Safely operate PIV.Performs preventative maintenance tasks.

Maintain accurate records of material consumption and WIP.Pull stainless steel sheets off holding racks in a way to decrease scratches.

Proficiently operates some Press Brake equipment

Process material per router (internal paperwork that details each job)
Performs preventative maintenance tasks with guidance

Maintain accurate records of material consumption and WIPPerform additional duties as deemed appropriate by the supervisor of this position.

Document material used per router

Ability to read and interpret prints

Ability to do limited set upScan routers into business software

Required Knowledge,

Skills and Abilities

After provided training on the business software, attain a proficiency level necessary to perform the functions of the position.

Certified to operate PIVRead and Interpret technical drawings with guidance.

Read measurements to 1/32”Read angle gauge

Adherence to all safety requirements required within this work area.

Attain basic product line knowledge.

Able to work with a team and independently.

Have basic mathematical knowledge.

Ability to concentrate on tasks while dealing with multiple interruptions.

Possess a strong attention to detail.

Excellent communication skills

Promote a Safe Work Environment Able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Minimum Required Experience or

Education:

High School diploma or equivalent vocational school

Minimum 3-4 years’ experience working in a manufacturing setting or fabrication specific vocational training## Responsibilities
