Position: Coordinator, Corporate Philanthropy (CMN)

Overview

The Coordinator of Children's Miracle Network (CMN) at Children's Hospital Colorado Foundation (Foundation) is responsible for holding a fundraising portfolio of CMN national partners and programs and for ensuring seamless coordination and execution of CMN initiatives, including partner campaigns, fundraising programs, and special events. This role will also coordinate and execute meaningful local and regional CMN partner locations, including Colorado, Wyoming, and Western Nebraska.

This position reports directly to the Director of Children's Miracle Network in the Foundation.

Shift: Day, Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm. Hybrid

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Manage a fundraising portfolio of Children’s Miracle Network (CMN) prospects
  • Manage portfolio of CMN donor in Denver Market with giving threshold of $1,000+
  • Achieve annual fundraising goals through cause campaigns, employee giving programs, opt-in programs, and focus events
  • Collaborate with national CMN hospital directors and colleagues regarding best practices, requested presentations and conference attendance
  • Coordinate and oversight of CMN fundraising program
  • Strategic oversight of CMN fundraising programs, including but not limited to Radiothon, Extra Life, Dance Marathon, and Play Yellow, to grow revenue and participation year over year, inclusive of cultivation and stewardship work
  • Radiothon event support including sponsorship solicitation and fulfillment, volunteer coordination, and logistics support
  • CMN territory partner visits — Coordinate and execute CMN partner visits across Colorado, Wyoming, and Western Nebraska, including scheduling, logistics, and donor cultivation
  • Primary travel times during high campaign season of April-August
  • Special projects and Foundation engagement
  • Support Corporate Philanthropy team and Foundation signature events as needed
  • Participate in Foundation committees as the CMN/CP liaison
  • Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
  • Degrees
    • An undergraduate (BA/BS) degree. No equivalency

      MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

      One to three years, or more in related experience of working in a fundraising environment with proven and successful track record of fundraising, preferably in non-profit sales and sponsorship.
    • The Coordinator of CMN Corporate Philanthropy will have demonstrated experience with:
    • * Ability to verbally communicate in an effective manner (written and spoken)
    • * Working with diverse teams in a collaborative environment
    • * Must be able to drive/and meet with corporate partners as needed
    • * CRM or like database knowledge and/or ability to learn new software
    • * Producing results in a deadline-oriented environment
    • * Non-profit sales experience a plus
    • * Ability to establish and foster relationships
    • * Able to establish task lists to work effectively
    • * Willingness to communicate
    • * Self-motivated and directed
    • * Enthusiastically advocate for children’s health
    • * Attentiveness to detail
    • * Self-confidence leading to creativity

Attentiveness to detail, self-confidence leading to creativity and flexibility, and enthusiasm in supporting the mission of Children’s Hospital Colorado.
  • PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
    • CRM Blackbaud experience or like database knowledge with the ability to learn new software
    • Knowledge of or direct experience with non-profit sales
    • Experience with cause-marketing campaigns and grassroots fundraising
    • Training or experience to deliver quality presentations to audience in a clear, confident, and engaging manner
Salary Information

Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience.

Hourly Range: $24.04 to $30.29
