Empowered Staffing is partnered with a leading drug rehabilitation company, redefining substance abuse treatment through innovative, patient-centered care. Currently, the company is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to join its team in Aurora and play a vital role in helping individuals on their journey toward recovery. This position offers you the unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference, working with patients on their path to sobriety through comprehensive care, compassionate support, and collaborative treatment.
What You’ll Do:- Perform detailed physical exams and gather medical histories to determine the best care plan for each patient.
- Develop and oversee individualized care plans, including medication management and therapeutic interventions tailored to each patient’s needs.
- Support patients through detox and withdrawal, including managing MAT (Medication-Assisted Treatment) for opioid use.
- Provide essential information and guidance to patients and their families on addiction, recovery, lifestyle changes, and medications.
- Regularly evaluate patients’ progress, make adjustments to their treatment plans, and document all care in compliance with regulatory guidelines.
- Work closely with a team of healthcare professionals, participating in team meetings and case discussions to ensure the best possible outcomes for each patient.
- Respond swiftly to acute patient needs, offering support and care when needed.
- Master’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
- Valid Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in the state of Colorado.
- Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) is preferred.
- Prior experience in addiction medicine, behavioral health, or a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with medication-assisted treatment and withdrawal management protocols.
