Job Summary:
The University of Colorado College of Nursing is seeking a full-time (1.0 FTE), benefitted Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to provide integrated primary care at the Community Health Clinic (CHC) on the Anschutz Medical Campus. This is a clinic-based faculty position within the IRC-Clinical Series, Clinical Practice Track that combines direct patient care with clinical precepting and leadership/service responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:
Serves as a primary care provider for the clinic's patient population.
Performs comprehensive patient assessments, including physical examinations, evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, follow-up, and consultation.
Performs outpatient primary care procedures within scope of practice.
Maintains procedural competency and adheres to evidence-based practice standards, documentation requirements, and informed consent processes.
Completes clinical documentation accurately and in a timely manner within the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
Functions as a clinical preceptor for advanced practice nursing students.
Actively participates in clinic marketing, outreach, and patient recruitment efforts.
Work Location:
Onsite - this role is expected to work onsite and is located at our Community Health Clinic in Aurora, Colorado.

Minimum Qualifications:
Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.
Faculty rank is determined at the end of the interview process based on a comprehensive review of candidate qualifications and experience compared to established College of Nursing faculty criteria.
This is an open rank position and could be categorized as Instructor of Clinical Practice, Senior Instructor of Clinical Practice, or Assistant Professor of Clinical Practice based on experience and qualifications as indicated below:
Instructor of Clinical Practice:
* Graduate degree in nursing from an accredited institution
* Current Board certification as an Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)
* Current RN and APN licensures in good standing (any state) Could be working toward CO clinical licenses during application process and registered with DORA-Department of Regulatory Agencies. Must have CO licensures by date of hire.
* Current Prescriptive Authority (RxN) Licensure (Any State)
* Must have Colorado RxN license by date of hire.
* Current DEA License
* Minimum of one (1) year Advance Practice experience as an FNP
Sr. Instructor of Clinical Practice:
* Graduate degree in nursing from an accredited institution
* Current Board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)
