Job Summary and Qualifications
As a Pre Op-PACU Registered Nurse, you will play a critical role in the immediate post-operative care of surgical patients. Your responsibilities will include managing airway support, closely monitoring neurological and cardiac status, and responding promptly to any complications or side effects. You will provide initial wound care to the patients' surgical site and ensure patient stability during recovery. You will collaborate with the surgical and anesthesia team.
This role includes on-call availability during select non-business hours which will be discussed in the interview.

Here is some of what you can expect from being a Pre-Op Registered Nurse with us:
You will oversee and direct the care of the pre surgical/procedural patient. You will serve as the primary nurse leading the collaboration of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care. You will oversee and direct the care of assistive personnel, maintaining final accountability for the care given to assigned patients. You will deliver care, which is based on criteria that is age appropriate and is based on the physical, psychosocial, cultural, safety, and learning needs of the individual patients.
You may be asked to float to areas other than your assigned service area, and you will perform only those duties for which you have demonstrated competency. What qualifications you will need:
Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse, or current active multi-state Registered Nurse license. Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross. ACLS certification. Graduate from an accredited school of nursing. BSN preferred. One (1) year minimum experience in acute care required. Benefits
