Position: Registered Nurse (RN)- Medical Nursing Unit

Overview

Cardiology Medicine Unit – Onsite role, full time (72 hours per two‑week pay period).

Work Schedule & Shift

Full time, 72 hours per pay period (2 weeks). Shift: Flex. Onsite location only.

Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program if having less than 3 years of experience.
  • Preferred:
    Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
  • State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider and any relevant life support certification as determined at position level.
  • Minimum six (6) months of nursing (RN) experience.
Responsibilities
  • Provide top‑of‑scope practice in direct patient care utilizing the nursing process.
  • Precept and model proficiency through precepting those new to healthcare and/or UCHealth.
  • Contribute to secure safety and quality at the point of care.
  • Deliver direct care in acute care (Med‑Surg) units of moderate to high patient acuity.
  • Apply AMSN’s core curriculum and specialty certification standards as part of evidence‑based care models.
  • Participate in individualized specialty education and training for competency validation with Clinical Educators.
