Job Summary and Qualifications

This position supports the mission of HCA HealthONE Aurora in optimizing the quality of life of all those served by expanding beyond the traditional focus on medical needs to the needs of the whole person. The Endoscopy Technician assists medical and nursing staff in providing care to endoscopy patients and maintains endoscopy equipment, performing other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Responsibilities
  • Assist medical and nursing staff in providing care to endoscopy patients.
  • Perform routine care and maintenance of endoscopy equipment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications
  • EMT or Paramedic Certification preferred.
  • BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross required.
  • Experience in endoscopy preferred.
  • Knowledge of basic clinical practices, procedures, and standards.
  • Ability to work closely with physicians and nursing staff.
  • Working knowledge and ability to troubleshoot equipment.
  • Excellent communication skills with all internal and external customers.
