We are seeking a qualified ER/Trauma RN to provide care in the Emergency Room at a major hospital. The role requires independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions appropriate for the level of care.

• Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions per state Board of Nursing standards.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care.
• Collect and assess health data; evaluate health status.
• Provide health teaching and counseling.
• Provide therapeutic and restorative care directly or through supervision of others.
• Execute delegated medical functions.
• Refer patients for further evaluation or treatment when necessary.
• Review and monitor therapy and treatment plans.
• Document care per hospital and regulatory guidelines.
• Use resources as needed.
• Promote the mission, vision, and values of the organization and adhere to service behavior standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Float to other departments within scope of competency based on business need.
• Stay on‑call during regularly scheduled shifts if required.

• Registered Nurse, ER or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in ER/Trauma nursing.
• RN license, compact acceptable.
• Certifications:
  
  BLS‑AHA, ACLS‑AHA, PALS‑AHA, CERT‑TNCC, CERT‑ENPC.
• 1 reference from entire work history.
