Neurosurgery OR RN Clinical Coordinator

We are seeking a Neurosurgery Operating Room Registered Nurse to serve as the Clinical Coordinator at Lutheran Hospital, part of Intermountain Health. The role involves supervising staff, coordinating patient‑care activities, ensuring compliance with policies, and supporting physician practices.

• Supervise, lead, role model, and coordinate the activities of personnel engaged in providing excellent patient‑focused care in the operating room.
• Supervise daily staffing and productivity, assure appropriate staff assignments and schedules, and seek resources as needed.
• Serve as a role model, mentor, and supervisor of staff; act as a leadership and clinical resource for the assigned area.
• Participate in performance‑improvement activities, new initiatives, and unit functions; interview and select assigned personnel.
• Identify and implement methods to improve financial outcomes, patient outcomes, and physician engagement.
• Perform RN duties as required.
• Promote exemplary service orientation to patients, members, providers, and staff.
• Oversee training of personnel and ensure orientation to policies, procedures, and expectations.
• Manage associate performance: coaching, counseling, discipline, and performance‑improvement planning.
• Assess and develop recommendations for new or revised policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Partner with physician leaders to foster a culture of patient‑focused service, excellence, compliance, and integrity.

• ASN/ADN from an accredited program with ability to obtain a BSN within four years of hire, or minimum of 15 years of continuous RN experience in acute care.
• Current Colorado RN license or compact license with ability to obtain a Colorado RN license.
• Current BLS certification; ACLS/NRP/PALS as appropriate within 60 days of hire.
• Minimum of 3 years of RN experience.
• Preferred: BSN degree.
• 3–5 years of neurosurgery circulating experience in a Level I or II hospital.
• At least one year of RN coordinator or charge RN experience.
• Current specialty certification(s) appropriate for the unit or service.

• Choose from one of the following shifts:
  • Days – 5 × 8‑hr shifts or 4 × 10‑hr shifts.
  • Call shifts required; eligible for call‑shift differential plus base pay; may stack differentials (e.g., evening, weekend).

Intermountain Health Lutheran Hospital – Wheat Ridge, Colorado.

Hourly rate: $44.42 – $65.70 (dependent on experience). The role includes a comprehensive benefits package covering medical, dental, vision, financial wellness tools, retirement planning, and a Healthy Living program.
