Position Overview
Department:
Denver/Metro Acute Care Enterprise Float Pool. Float Pool RNs will support patients and teams at Highlands Ranch Hospital, Broomfield Hospital, Longs Peak Hospital, and University of Colorado Hospital. This is an onsite role and does not offer a hybrid or remote option.
- Provide direct patient care in specialty Acute Care (Med‑Surg) units with moderate to high patient acuity.
- Utilize the nursing process to deliver scope of practice in direct patient care.
- Precept and mentor new staff and fellows to support competency validation.
- Contribute to patient safety and quality at the point of care.
- Support specialty education and training as guided by Clinical Educators.
- Graduate of an accredited or state‑board‑approved Registered Nurse program.
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- At least 6 months of nursing experience (RN).
- Flexibility to work a 72‑hour pay period with day/night rotation or nights.
Full‑time, 72.00 hours per 2‑week pay period. Shift: Day/Night Rotation or Nights. Pay: $35.29 – $54.71 per hour plus regional float pool differential.
