FTE: Full Time, 1.0, 80.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)
Shift: Days
Pay: $32.01 - $49.62 per hour, dependent on relevant experience
SummaryProvides direct patient care, in a medical/physician office setting, using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice and with the policies, values, and mission of the organization.
Responsibilities- Plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans based on assessment to optimize outcomes and maximize available resources.
- Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate; collaborate across disciplines to coordinate care, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and spiritual/psychosocial support.
- Evaluate learning needs of patients and/or families and provide education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
- Effectively delegate patient care to ancillary personnel; precept student nurses and new hires as needed.
- Apply critical thinking and judgment to work with minimal supervision in a fast‑paced environment and take appropriate action.
- Education:
Graduate of an accredited nursing program if less than 3 years experience; preferred Bachelor's in Nursing. - Licensure:
Registered Nurse (RN) license;
Basic Life Support (BLS) provider; additional certification as determined at position level. - Experience:
Minimum 6 months of nursing experience. - Additional
Certifications:
BLS or CPR card from American Heart Association or American Red Cross, valid for 60 days of hire.
