Position: Registered Nurse Operating Room Guaranteed Hours

Hourly Wage Estimate: $36.68 - $55.53 / hour

Job Summary

As an OR Registered Nurse, you will be part of an interdisciplinary team dedicated to delivering safe, high‑quality perioperative care. Your role will involve supporting surgical procedures, managing equipment, and collaborating with nursing and surgical staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Serve specific age groups—adult, adolescent, geriatric, or pediatric—using your specialized OR nursing skills.
  • Prepare each procedure by ensuring adequate supplies and equipment are available in assigned areas.
  • Assist with post‑procedure tasks, including cleaning the room, disposing of unused supplies, and setting up for the next procedure.
  • Teach, supervise, and serve as a resource for staff members, delegating duties in accordance with their competency levels.
  • Rotate to non‑OR areas as needed, performing duties only when you have demonstrated competency.
Qualifications
  • Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse, or an active multi‑state RN license.
  • Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing; a BSN is preferred.
  • Minimum one year of perioperative (OR) experience.
  • ACLS and PALS certification within six months of hire.
  • CNOR certification is preferred.
  • Availability for weekend and overnight call (Friday to Monday); schedule includes 60 hours with 40 hours guaranteed.
