Registered Nurse – Psychiatric

Psychiatric Nurse

Provide specialized psychiatric nursing care to adult patients in a mental health inpatient setting. Collaborate with clinical teams to deliver compassionate, evidence-based mental health treatments during night shifts.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and monitor patient responses in accordance with treatment plans.
• Observe, document, and report changes in patient behavior and mental status.
• Implement therapeutic interventions and support patient safety.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to coordinate care.
• Adhere to unit policies, safety procedures, and documentation standards.
• Assist with patient admissions, discharges, and fluctuations in mental health status.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid RN license with at least 2 years of psychiatric inpatient experience.
• Obtain and maintain BLS and CPI certifications;
  Calm Every Storm certification preferred.
• Demonstrate proficiency in behavioral health procedures and mental health nursing practices.
• Possess strong communication, teamwork, and compassionate care skills.
• Able to handle high patient acuity with flexibility and professionalism.
