Description:
Max approved time off is 10 days during the 13-week contract. Time off is not allowed during specific periods. There is no on-call requirement for this position. The facility features 41 Operating Rooms and operates as a Level 1 Trauma Center. Travelers are expected to float to other Operating Rooms when needed. The daily census ranges from 90 to 110 patients.
The unit provides comprehensive interdisciplinary support services. Travelers should possess experience in various surgical procedures, including but not limited to hysterectomies, amputations, craniotomies, and trauma surgeries. Completion of all modules is a requirement within the first week of the assignment. Travelers are responsible for tracking their compliance and ensuring completion of any necessary training. Candidates must clearly demonstrate their ability to circulate emergent surgeries, particularly craniotomies.
Prior charge experience is preferred but not necessary for applicants. This position aims to ensure high-quality patient care in a fast-paced, dynamic surgical environment.
