Travel RN - Progressive Care Unit (PCU)

This is a 13-week contract position.

Shift: 7A - 7P
Job Description:
Join our dynamic team as a Travel RN in our Progressive Care Unit (PCU). Our unit specializes in providing high-quality care to a large cardiac population and various acute and chronic medical issues. This role offers an excellent opportunity for learning and growth within a supportive team atmosphere.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Progressive Care Unit.
- Monitor vital signs and assist with patient assessments.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Adapt to various units, including telemetry and rehab as needed.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Minimum of 1-year current acute care PCU experience.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications.
- Experience with Meditech EMR is preferred.
- Chemo Certification is a plus.
