Registered Nurse

This position requires a registered nurse with a specialty in medical-surgical and telemetry within the orthopedics unit. The nurse will work three 12-hour shifts per week during the night. The role includes working with patient ratios of 6:1 on nights. Candidates are expected to provide care for a diverse patient population with various orthopedic issues. The nurse must be able to float to other units as required.

Pre-approved time off is limited, particularly during specific time frames throughout the contract. Candidates should be familiar with Epic charting systems. Experience in telemetry and management of peripheral lines, oxygen administration, and use of rapid response teams is necessary. This role demands adaptability and teamwork within an interdisciplinary support framework. Candidates who have completed a year-long assignment are not eligible for rebooking.

Experience:

2 years of acute care experience required License:
Active RN license required

Certifications:

AHA BLS required Must-Have:

- Previous experience in inpatient orthopedics and acute care
- Comfortable working in environments with flexible staffing ratios
- Ability to float as required to meet facility needs
