Job DescriptionThe Emergency Department is seeking a highly skilled and energetic Travel RN to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to provide comprehensive care to patients in emergency situations. This role demands a collaborative approach and excellent communication skills to coordinate with staff and other healthcare providers.
Responsibilities- Provide critical and emergency care to patients in the ED.
- Utilize advanced medical equipment, including EKG and cardiac monitors.
- Maintain patient ratios of 1:4 or 1:5 as per unit guidelines.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Complete all required ED care protocols efficiently.
- Minimum of 1 year of current acute care hospital ED experience.
- Current BLS, ACLS, NIH, PALS, TNCC, and ENPC certifications.
- Experience in a Level 1 trauma center is preferred.
- Stroke experience is a plus.
