American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor and Delivery position requiring 1+ year of L&D experience and a CO or compact RN license.

• Work in a 19-room Women's and Infants Labor and Delivery unit within a hospital setting
• Rotating day and night shifts (3x12 hours), 7:00-19:00 and 19:00-7:00
• Various days of the week with weekend requirements per unit needs
• On-call responsibilities required per unit needs
• Float required within the Women and Infant Unit, and possibly within the metro region per facility needs
• Patient ratio of 1:2
• Uses Epic charting system
• Navy scrub color required

• Active RN license, CO or compact license required
• Current certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate
• Minimum 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Teaching hospital experience preferred

• Provide comprehensive care across antepartum, labor and delivery, postpartum, and newborn care areas
• Responsibilities may include fetal monitoring, medication administration (including Pitocin, Magnesium Sulfate, and antihypertensives), and assisting with vaginal and C-section deliveries
• May assist with high-risk deliveries, hemorrhage/shock situations, and postpartum complications
• Facility supports units accommodating multiple travel contracts due to size
• Completion of facility-specific training modules required within the first week of assignment
• Maximum of 10 RTO days approved per 13-week contract, with blackout periods during select weeks
• No blocked scheduling requests permitted
• First-time travelers are not accepted for this position
• Local candidates residing within 75 miles of the facility may be eligible for a local rate
• Previous UCHealth employees may be subject to eligibility restrictions
• Returning travelers who completed a full year on assignment may not be rebooked for at least one year
