Travel RN - Labor and Delivery
Seeking a travel RN for a Labor and Delivery unit. The unit has a total of 13 beds and a staff of 40 members. The typical staffing on the night shift is 1 Charge Nurse, 2 Registered Nurses, and 1 CST. Patient ratios are mostly 1:1, adhering to AWHONN guidelines. The unit employs GE EFM and uses EMR systems including CPN and Meditech.
Typical procedures performed include triage and evaluation of OB patients, management of labor patients, and oversight of recovery for vaginal and cesarean deliveries. Candidates with prior experience in Meditech and strong OB triage skills will be given preference. This is a small but busy unit ideal for teamwork. Self-scheduling is available, providing an excellent opportunity for high-quality one-on-one patient time.
