American Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN with Level I/II trauma experience and a CO or compact RN license for a Level 1 Trauma Center
Details- Level 1 Trauma Center OR unit with 41 operating rooms
- Day shift schedule with 3x12-hour shifts starting at 0645, with occasional floats to 0845 or 1045 starts
- Schedule includes Saturday and Sunday plus one weekday that varies weekly based on staffing needs
- Must work 3 night shifts per assignment
- Weekend work required with no on-call responsibilities
- 13-week contract length
- 1:1 patient ratio
- Float required to other UCH operating rooms within scope
- Handles General, GU/GYN, Neuro, ENT, and Plastic surgery cases
- Uses Epic EMR
- Active RN license, CO or Compact required
- Current BLS certification
- Minimum 3 years of OR experience required
- Level I or Level II trauma center experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- At least one completed travel assignment required
- Experience with a wide range of surgical procedures across gynecology, plastics, neurology, trauma, general surgery, urology, and ENT specialties
- First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
- Candidates previously employed by UCHealth or its affiliates within the last two years are not eligible for consideration
- Travelers who completed a full year on assignment must wait at least one year before being rebooked
- Maximum of 10 RTO days approved per 13-week contract, with blackout periods where RTO is not allowed including late June/early July, early September, late October/early November, late November/early December, and year-end into early January
- Blocked scheduling requests are not permitted
- Completion of all facility-specific training modules is required within the first week of the assignment
- Local candidates residing within 75 miles of the facility may be considered
