Tell us about the unit(s):
- Number of Beds – 345 – 3-time Magnet Designation
- Number of Staff – float pool is about 80
- Type of staff:
- Day Shift – RN and CNAs on most units
- Night Shift – RNs and CNAs on most units
- Patient Ratios – 1:5 days and nights varies between units, estimated ratios not guaranteed
- Types of equipment - various
- EMR
- Meditech
Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters)
Must have : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.
- BLS
- ACLS
- Chemo Certification (would be able to schedule on our Oncology unit)
- Joint replacements and fracture repairs
- Spinal injuries
- Flexibility and willingness to float
- Team player and compassion is a must
- Great leaning opportunity to learn to care for patients with varied medical issues both acute and chronic.
