Registered Nurse Emergency Room

Job Summary:

Provide urgent and effective emergency nursing care in a fast-paced emergency department. Collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver high-quality patient care and ensure patient safety.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions quickly and accurately upon arrival.
• Administer emergency treatments, medications, and procedures as needed.
• Utilize monitoring equipment including EKGs and cardiac monitors to evaluate patient status.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff regarding care plans.
• Record thorough and accurate documentation of patient assessments and interventions.
• Follow unit policies and adhere to clinical guidelines to ensure optimal care.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active RN license and have a minimum of 1-year current acute care hospital emergency department experience.
• Obtain BLS, ACLS, NIH, PALS, TNCC, ENPC, and CPI Blue Card certifications.
• Possess experience with trauma and stroke care is preferred.
• Demonstrate strong communication, teamwork, and energetic personality traits.
• Be capable of performing complex procedures and managing multiple patients effectively.
