Registered Nurse - Acute Care Float Pool

Role:

Float Pool Registered Nurse (RN) supporting multiple hospitals within the healthcare system.

Provide comprehensive direct patient care using the nursing process in moderate to high acuity acute care units. Support a multidisciplinary team approach, prioritize patient wellness, and model proficiency through precepting new staff. Contribute to safety and quality at the point of care while supporting specialty units like Med-Surg. Assist in individualized education and competency validation for new team members.

• Graduate from an accredited or approved nursing program (less than 3 years' experience).
• State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Minimum of 6 months RN experience.
• Current BLS certification through AHA or Red Cross, valid through sixty days of hire.

• Support patients across multiple hospital sites.
• Adaptability to fast-paced, innovative clinical environments.
• Emphasis on evidence-based practice and teamwork.
• Engage in ongoing education and professional growth supported by clinical educators.
