Job TitleTravel RN – Pediatric CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room)

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Travel | Days | 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM | 13-Week Assignment | Onsite
Key Responsibilities- Manage the operating room environment across pediatric surgical cases including cardiac, orthopedic, ENT, urology, spine, general, GYN, endoscopy, and plastics procedures
- Assist surgeons during open heart and cardiovascular surgical procedures in a pediatric setting
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes in patient condition throughout the perioperative process
- Provide pre- and post-operative care to pediatric patients at a 1:1 patient ratio
- Operate and manage specialized equipment including Belmont Rapid Fusion devices
- Communicate effectively with surgical team members, anesthesia providers, and service line leaders
- Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital Pediatric CVOR RN experience
- Cardiac and open heart surgery experience required
- Active and unrestricted RN license
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- Proficiency with Meditech or CPN EMR systems
- Pediatric patient care experience beyond minimum requirement
- Dedicated CVOR or cardiac surgical nursing background
- Ability to function across multiple surgical service lines
- Work within a well-supported pediatric OR environment featuring experienced service line leaders and a collaborative team of RNs, CSTs, and anesthesia professionals across 8 operating rooms
- Gain exposure to a broad range of pediatric surgical specialties in a high-acuity setting with modern equipment and technology
