Overview

Manager, Manufacturing Quality - Aurora, CO

We seek a highly skilled Manufacturing Quality Manager to lead, motivate, and coach the manufacturing quality team to support production, ensuring on-floor quality and contributing to product quality and production targets up to the release of finished goods to the market.

Your Day To Day
  • Ensure Compliance and Safety
    :
    Guarantee adherence to PMI and legal standards, policies, and Environmental, Health, Safety, and Sustainability guidelines. Foster a proactive, safety-first culture using preventive and predictive approaches in line with our Integrated Operating System.
  • Production Support
    :
    Guarantee the required on-floor Quality Support for Reduced-Risk Products to meet PMI quality standards. Confirm the self-inspection process through an effective sampling plan, statistical process control (SPC), and/or digital quality control (Zoom QC). Ensure that quality practices are shared and deployed on the floor by transferring knowledge and training to stakeholders on new processes, requirements, methods, or guidelines.
  • Non-Conformities Management
    :
    Provide full support in case of non-conformities for product and process. Coordinate investigations, risk assessment, and root cause analysis, leveraging Integrated Operating System problem-solving tools. Ensure timely investigation of product and material non-conformities and appropriate blocking when required. Manage NC-CAPA processes to identify and prioritize quality improvement opportunities and implement action plans. Approve/reject all non-conformities and action plans at the appropriate level.
  • Quality Management System (QMS) Support
    :
    Participate in creating and reviewing procedures, work instructions, and other required Quality Documents. Provide related support and training in accordance with the training management system.
  • Continuous Improvement
    :
    Provide timely feedback and recommendations for corrective actions to achieve performance objectives, support continuous improvement, and implement best practices. Propose, define, and implement quality improvement programs to ensure products and processes meet requirements along manufacturing lines, leveraging Integrated Operating System tools to achieve leadership in quality and cost savings. Monitor Quality Loss on Goods Destroyed (LOGD) costs for semi-finished goods, finished goods, and incoming materials, via timely stock screening and prompt decision-making.

    Support resolution of critical consumer complaints with focus on consumer satisfaction and alignment with Swedish Match North America processes.
  • Develop & Motivate Your Team
    :
    Manage and develop a motivated team to ensure performance, development, and objective achievement within PMI leadership model. Create an environment that encourages each team member to express their talent. Develop and drive a Qualification matrix and training path for each role. Facilitate successful team behavior within Quality Systems and across functional areas, building cross-functional support.
Who Are We Looking For
  • College/University master’s degree in chemistry, biological sciences, physical sciences, engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of quality engineering experience in tobacco, food, pharmaceutical, or similar FMCG industry.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and QMS; proficiency with quality tools, root cause analysis, data interpretation, and influencing others. Ability to learn quickly and teach others. Knowledge of ISO, GMP, GCP, ICH, GLP, etc.; IT skills (MS Office). Experience with FDA inspections is a plus.
Compensation & Benefits

Annual Base Salary: $132,000 – $165,000

We offer a competitive base salary and the potential for a discretionary annual bonus.
